G.James Glass and Aluminium is Australia's leading integrated glass, aluminium window and door manufacturer and contractor. Our privately owned, family company employs 1900 people with operations throughout Australia.

Our Windows & Doors branch provides sales, fabrication and installation of aluminium windows and doors to the residential and commercial construction markets. Our Hervey Bay team are seeking an experienced, focused and well-organized Sales Representative to provide outstanding quality customer service to both new and existing customers in and around surrounding regions.

The Role

  • Build and maintain strong sales and customer service relationships with new and existing customers
  • Accurate and appropriate product selection based on customer requirements, relevant standards and specifications
  • Reading of plans and taking off quantities for quoting
  • Accurate and timely creation of quotations and orders using V6 software
  • Site measurements
  • Daily management and update of CRM

    • The Person

  • Successful technical sales background and prior demonstrable experience in windows and doors, glass, or related building industry
  • Computer skills with previous experience using quoting software (V6 preferred)
  • Ability to understand the technical product, building codes, regulations, including Australian Standards
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused and relationship-building outcomes
