Childcare Traineeship

Overview

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a Trainee to join our vibrant Dapto Service. This exciting opportunity allows you to earn while you learn, as you work towards your Children's Services qualification. Gain hands-on experience, develop practical skills, and build a rewarding career in early childhood education and care. This position is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract with off-the-floor time to complete your studies.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the team to provide high-quality education and care.
• Develop and deliver an inclusive and innovative program.
• Apply approved learning frameworks (EYLF) that promote each child's identity, connection to community, wellbeing, learning confidence, and communication skills.
• Maintain a safe environment, proactively managing risks and adhering to health and hygiene protocols.
• Lead by example in all interactions, fostering a respectful and collaborative team culture.
• Partner with families to support their children’s development and education goals.
• Build and maintain clear and accurate communication within the team, children and families, and nurture professional, supportive and respectful relationships.
