Overview
Opportunity exists for a permanent part-time (35 hours per week) administration officer within the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital Allied Health administration team. The position provides administrative support for six Allied Health departments and involves answering and responding to patient / consumer telephone and email queries, patient / client registration within relevant NSW Health systems, scheduling outpatient appointments, ordering of stationery and other clinical items, as well as general administration support. The hours and days of week required for this position are Monday to Friday 9am-4 : 30pm (these hours are not negotiable, and the position is required to work at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, working from home is not possible for this position).

What you\'ll be doing
The position provides administrative support for six Allied Health departments and involves answering and responding to patient / consumer telephone and email queries, patient / client registration within relevant NSW Health systems, scheduling outpatient appointments, ordering of stationery and other clinical items, as well as general administration support. The position is supported by an Allied Health Administration Coordinator, who oversees the coordination of administration tasks across the team.
