The Salvation Army Youth Services encompasses a range of programs for vulnerable young people, their families, and the community. Our services have a strong focus on prevention and early intervention and enable access to safe accommodation options, Holistic case management, community outreach programs and programs that teach vital independent living skills.
About The Role : As a Youth Worker, this is your opportunity to provide support to young people between the ages of 16 and 18 years of age, under a current Guardianship of the Chief Executive orders through the Department for Child Protection and to provide assertive outreach support to young people residing independently.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a fixed-term position, offering 23.4 hours per week, until 31st July, 2026. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 4.
