New graduates are welcome to apply, aged care placements will be viewed favourably. We are currently seeking applications for a Physiotherapistto join our Residential Aged Care Team at the Cove on a permanent full-time basis working 76 hours per fortnight.

The Physiotherapistwill be responsible for completing initial physiotherapy assessments to understand each clients unique goals and contribute to the development of each clients individual care plan. The Physiotherapist will also be responsible for developing an individualised therapy program for each client to support them to reach their rehabilitation goals. The Physiotherapist role includes supervision of a team of therapy assistants. The Physiotherapist plays an active role in the weekly site MDT to support safe and effective care.

Current AHPRA registrationStrong commitment to providing safe, high quality careExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in various environments with a diverse range of peopleDemonstrated experience as a Physiotherapist to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client careDemonstrated diverse clinical work placement during their trainingExperience working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and supervising therapy assistantsExperience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting is desirableDemonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlinesCurrent satisfactory National Police Certificate (obtained within the last 12 months)Possess a current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's LicenseEvidence of up to date flu vaccinationSatisfactory NDIS Worker Screening checkWith a track record that dates back to 1901, care is at our core.
