- The position
As a Payroll and remuneration Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the punctual and precise execution of payroll processes, alongside offering administrative assistance. Additionally, you will provide guidance on remuneration and benefits to the Human Resources team.
Your day-to-day tasks will include, but not be limited toGuaranteeing precise and prompt processing of payrollOffering up-to-date and accurate HR advice and assistanceCrafting internal HR resources to drive ongoing enhancementsGathering and upholding payroll informationCreating summaries of earnings, deductions, and related detailsExecuting diverse payments and benefits as necessaryManaging payroll operations in alignment with established policiesGenerating on-demand financial and operational reportsStaying current with employee privileges and legal entitlementsOverseeing welfare benefits and suggesting improvementsFulfilling any additional responsibilities as deemed necessaryA pertinent higher education degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification will be held in high regardProven experience in payroll within the resources industryFamiliarity with Pronto, UKG, and the Payroll Metrics system will be viewed favourablySound comprehension of relevant payroll and tax regulationsExemplary efficiency and strong organizational abilitiesExcellent communication skills, encompassing both verbal and written aptitude, along with adept coordination abilitiesAbout UsFounded in 2002 on the ideals of excellence in customer service, Scotford Fennessy is an Australian-owned and operated specialist recruitment and executive search firm committed to building companies and building careers.
