Job description

Eco Tile Factory is a boutique tile company with a diverse range of tiles including tessellated, heritage, cement encaustics, porcelains, wall tiles, stones, and mosaics. We work with the public as well as architects, designers, developers, builders, and tilers.

Situated within the Adelaide Restoration Centre, we are a small to medium business currently seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team. The role involves showroom sales and a passion for Interior Design is preferred. The position is initially part-time, offering 2-3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday 9-5 & alternate Saturdays 9-2).

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer service including design assistance, product selection, and providing quotations
  • Liaising with builders and tilers
  • Maintaining showroom displays

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience working in a retail environment
  • High-level sales skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a professional and friendly sales process
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

    • Other Requirements

  • Physically fit, as some lifting / manual handling is involved
  • Flexibility with shifts, including availability on alternate Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm, and willingness to cover staff leave when necessary
  • Interest in a long-term position
  • Australian work rights
  • Tile experience is highly regarded but not essential, as training will be provided
