Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging is a key discipline within the School of Veterinary Medicine, supporting a busy and active surgery and diagnostic (including referral) caseload.The RoleA Senior Lecturer is expected to have developed a strong clinical specialist focus, evidenced by specialist college accreditation status and clinical discipline publications.

This position contributes significantly to the teaching effort of the School through the preparation and delivery of lectures and tutorials, program coordination, and supervision of Honours and postgraduate students.

Academic staff at this level will also be involved in a broad range of administrative and service functions in the School and across the University.An Associate Professor is expected to have a record of academic excellence with high-quality research that has national and / or international impact.

A commitment and capacity to attract external research funding is also expected.

This position makes a substantial contribution to all teaching activities within the School, as well as to the College and profession.What you'll bring to this roleA veterinary degree registrable by the Veterinary Practice Board of Western Australia, and board certification in equine surgery, preferable Dip ACVS (Dip ECVS / FANZCVS will be considered) and / or board certification in Veterinary Diagnostic ImagingExtensive experience in teaching Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging at the undergraduate and postgraduate levelDemonstrated recent experience in applied clinical and didactic teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Applicants should refer to the Position Description for further details on the work requirements, duties, skills, and experience required for this role.
