The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program / Portfolio Manager to work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
The Program / Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing a collection of related projects and initiatives that align with the organisation’s strategic objectives. This role ensures programs are delivered effectively, within scope, budget, and timeline, while managing interdependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, governance, and communication skills to drive value delivery across the portfolio.
What You Will Do!
- Lead the planning, execution, and governance of programs and portfolios aligned with business strategy.
- Define program scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Manage interdependencies across projects, ensuring alignment of resources, timelines, and deliverables.
- Establish and maintain program governance structures, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics.
- Monitor and report on program health, risks, issues, and benefits realisation to executive leadership.
- Facilitate decision-making and prioritisation across competing initiatives.
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support.
- Drive continuous improvement in program and portfolio management practices.
What You Will Bring!
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.7+ years of experience in project / program management, with at least 3 years in a portfolio or program leadership role.Proven experience managing complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, MSP, Agile, SAFe).Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.Proficiency in portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).Preferred Qualifications :
Certification in Program or Portfolio Management (e.g., PgMP, MoP, SAFe Program Consultant).Experience in Agile delivery environments and digital transformation programs.Familiarity with financial management, benefits tracking, and strategic planning processes.Please Apply Via This Job ad.
