We are seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Driver / Pick Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move goods around our warehouse, as well as picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
  • Pick orders based on customer requests, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Pack products securely to avoid damage during shipping, following company guidelines.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring products are moved without damage.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels by storing and organizing products correctly.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and perform regular maintenance checks.
  • Assist with stock organization, replenishment, and rotation based on inventory needs.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and warehouse policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with periodic inventory checks.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet daily productivity goals and ensure timely order dispatch.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse and work areas.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in forklift operation is preferred.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) is required.
  • Experience in order picking and packing is a plus.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment and machinery safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [XX] lbs) as required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
