About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic, strategic and people-focused QLD State Sales Manager to lead our highly experienced Queensland Sales team.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and based in SE Queensland, this is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, and market expansion across a diverse range of industries.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping our QLD sales strategy, inspiring your team, and building strong partnerships with customers and distribution partners across the state.
Key Responsibilities
As the QLD State Sales Manager, you will :
Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing sales team
Drive sales growth and achieve agreed sales targets and margins
Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners
Identify and secure new business opportunities across the Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Mining, Data, and Hazardous markets
Manage key customer accounts including electrical wholesalers, contractors, end users, consultants, and specifiers
Deliver exceptional customer experiences through a solutions-based approach
Contribute to national business strategy and ensure effective execution at a state level
Foster collaboration and success with our distribution partners
Regularly travel throughout Queensland to support customers and the sales team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have :
Proven success in sales management within a technical or electrical business, including leading a sales team, managing a sales area, and consistently achieving targets
A demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and maintain long-term client relationships
Electrical trade qualifications or tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
Tertiary qualifications in Business (highly regarded)
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to build, lead and develop a cohesive, inclusive, and high-performing team
High levels of emotional intelligence, with experience managing and motivating a diverse range of staff
Proficiency with computer systems, including CRM software and Microsoft Office
Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly within Queensland
A current and valid driver’s license
