What You'll Do :

The role reports to the Branch Manager. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst :

• Answering phone calls
• Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
• Processing counter sales
• Maintaining safety processes
• Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
• Unpacking orders and putting product away in the appropriate locations

What You'll Bring :

We are keen to hear from jobseekers with a high focus on customer service, problem solving skills, the ability to think outside the square and get the job done. You’ll also have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate :

• Current drivers licence and forklift ticket is preferred
• Experience working within a sales environment
• Effective written and verbal communications skills for a positive customer experience
• Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
• Reliable and able to demonstrate initiative
