Workplace Learning and Vocational Education and Training Support Officer
Permanent full‑time position commencing Term 1, 2026 at Ridge View Secondary College in Baldivis. The role is part of the Senior Pathways team and focuses on improving the school’s VET and workplace learning programs.
About the role
Empowering Students. Building Futures. The Officer will support the development, coordination and ongoing improvement of Ridge View’s VET and workplace learning pathways, manage essential documentation, processes and program materials, and ensure compliance and smooth operation.
Key responsibilities include :
- Working closely with students to understand their strengths, interests and aspirations, and helping them identify suitable VET or employment pathways.
- Supporting the sourcing of quality industry placements and developing new employer partnerships.
- Conducting site checks, supporting employer induction and fostering industry networks that reflect local community needs.
- Monitoring student engagement, analysing data trends and reporting on program performance to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
- Expanding engagement to lower secondary students, enhancing participation in career‑based incursion / excursions and celebrating student and staff success.
