We have an exciting opportunity at nbn , as the Portfolio Support Manager reporting to Executive Manager – SEO, Executive Governance.
A bit about your role
The Portfolio Support Manager role is responsible for providing strategic financial, analytical, and modelling support to senior leaders, with a strong focus on financial management and governance. Success in the role requires expertise in finance, accounting, and interpreting complex data for diverse audiences.
The role also involves leading a team, managing offshore support models, overseeing financial deliverables, and driving process improvements and automation. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential to influence, collaborate, and ensure alignment with best practices across portfolios.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in program and project support, financial governance, and team leadership, including managing cross-functional and offshore teams. They possess strong financial acumen, with the ability to simplify complex data for senior stakeholders, and are skilled in resource tracking, forecasting, and performance reporting.
With a background in PMO environments and a proven ability to lead projects across the full solution lifecycle, they excel at driving process improvements and change initiatives. The candidate is a collaborative leader who communicates effectively, influences at senior levels, and fosters a culture of accountability and continuous growth. Experience in PMO environments and supporting CapEx initiatives is highly valued.
