About the Role

In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework, the Queensland Public Service, and CHQ values.

You will fulfill the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 6 Band 1, and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service commitments and values, achieving organisational goals and Domains of Practice.

Domain 1 : Direct Comprehensive Care

  • Accountable for Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards and own nursing practice, including professional advice and delegated activities.
  • Provide safe, compassionate care, integrating the nursing Professional Practice Model, quality frameworks and Planetree philosophy, supporting best clinical practice and individualized patient care and outcomes.
