Job Overview

Position : Operator – Industrial Liquid Waste Management

Location : Wingfield, SA Australia

Type : Permanent – Full‑time

Shift : Day – 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm (flexible start / finish)

Hourly Wage : $34.18 (overtime and Saturday hours paid at overtime rates)

Training : Full training, uniforms and PPE provided

Responsibilities

  • Direct industrial liquid waste through the correct systems
  • Operate and monitor processing equipment
  • Collect liquid samples
  • Load and unload packaged wastes, bulk liquids and oils
  • Transfer liquid from collection containers
  • Perform general site labour duties

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum C‑class driver licence required
  • Forklift licence (preferred) or willingness to obtain
  • Excavator and loader tickets highly advantageous
  • Experience operating machinery in an industrial environment
  • Experience with processing or wastewater treatment facilities advantageous
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
