Casual Retail Consultant – Early Settler
Early Settler is a stylish modern living furniture and homewares retailer offering affordable, design‑focused products that help customers create a home they love. We’re looking for a friendly, driven Retail Consultant to join our store team and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a personalised customer experience by understanding each shopper’s needs and recommending suitable products.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to accurately describe features and benefits.
- Upsell and cross‑sell, informing customers about sales and promotions.
- Consistently deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate Early Settler values in every interaction.
- Ensure visual merchandising guidelines are followed and store presentation is consistently attractive.
- Resolve customer concerns or escalations in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 2 years of retail experience in home / lifestyle products (preferred).Strong selling drive and a positive, “can‑do” attitude.Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.Balance customer care with administrative duties.Interest in home‑styling, furniture or creating welcoming living spaces is a plus.Physical ability to lift, carry and move products of varying sizes.Valid right to work in Australia (AU citizen, resident or appropriate visa).Availability for weekend work and flexible hours throughout the week.What We Offer
