Forklift Driver

ABOUT THE ROLE

AWX are currently recruiting a full-time forklift operator for a thriving manufacturing facility based in Yatala.

Operating a counterbalance forklift to move finished goods and raw materials to difference areas of the manufacturing facility, previous experience in a high-volume facility highly desirable.

You will be moving long loads, putting stock into racking, loading, and unloading trucks, keeping the production plant serviced with removal of finished products and replenishing storage crates.

This position is an ongoing opportunity for the right person.

Night shift, Monday Friday 17 : 00 05 : 00 (days to be discussed)

First two weeks training will be day shift

ABOUT YOU

• We are looking for personnel with previous experience in a fast-moving manufacturing plant with the following :
• High Risk LF forklift ticket
• Previous experience moving loads with a counterbalance forklift
• High level of fitness and good core strength
• Previous experience in a physically demanding high volume position.
• Driver's licence and reliable transport
• Be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia.

To be considered, you must be suitably qualified and have proven experience driving a forklift in a similar industry.
