Job description
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1. Achieve Sales and Profit plan for the APAC region
  • Together with the Director of Growth (based in NYC), manage the P&L for APAC accounts. Key accounts include Sephora, Lotte Duty Free, Krisshop, DFS Macau etc, with Sephora being the #1 priority.
  • Define commercial strategy for each retailer in line with budget targets to reach sales and profitability levels requested.
  • Continuously look for, and assess, new business opportunities within the region.
  • 2. Key Accounts management
  • Develop strong working relationship with key accounts.
  • Drive commercial negotiations at corporate (HQ) and field levels (stores).
  • Work with retailer teams to maximize all aspects of business (in-shop space & locations, pricing, marketing investments, promotions, etc.)
  • Forecasting responsibilities on saleable and non-saleable goods (POS material, GWP etc.) to optimize costs and avoid obsolescence.
  • Responsible for educating retailer teams and onboarding agencies within the region
  • 3. Implementation of the Marketing, Merchandising and Digital Guidelines

    • Together with the Director of Growth, define and put together marketing, launch and promotional plans.
    • Ensure that merchandising, builds and visual implementation is in line with corporate and brand guidelines.
    • Negotiate promotional activities to develop the business.
    • Market Intelligence : gather market information related to the industry (market size, distribution, pricing, launch results, ranking etc.)
    • Work closely with marketing and PR agencies to achieve pre-set KPIs for press coverage, influencer coverage / seeding and proper brand representation at events
    • CAREER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • Experience with account management within Sephora. Experience with Travel Retail is a plus.
    • The ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team, and is confident in managing relationships at all levels.
    • Strong strategic and operational capabilities.
    • Adaptive : Able to adapt plans, strategies and processes in ways suited to the needs of the business while promoting consistency in how brand is presented externally.
    • Organized and highly communicative : Well organized, with a disciplined approach to evaluating priorities in a fast-changing environment, and communicating cross-functionally in an efficient and clear manner.

    • Excellent English communication skills, effective relationship building skills with internal and external partners.

    • Up to $210,000.00 per year
