Warrnambool Auto Electrics is a busy auto electrical business, offering customers a professional and reliable service. Work varies greatly from simple light globe changes, to accessory fitment, to advanced fault finding and breakdown work. The business looks after a large variety of fleet, business and retail customers. We operate in both workshop and on-site, on a large variety of different vehicles and machines, including cars, trucks, machinery, tractors, boats and more. We cover a very wide area in the Warrnambool and South Western Victoria area.

Qualifications & experience

  • Automotive Air-conditioning Licence
  • Australian Drivers Licence (HR or above a bonus but not necessary)
  • White Card and Machinery Tickets an advantage
  • Sorry, Only Australian residents will be considered for this role
  • May also consider qualified Mechanic with Auto Electrical experience

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Installation of a variety of aftermarket accessories, lights, UHF radios, rear view cameras, dual battery systems, electric brakes etc.
  • Experience in Air Conditioning Repairs and Diagnosis
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of work under minimal supervision
  • Carry out tasks in a time efficient manner, onsite and in workshop environments
  • Maintain professional relationship with a large customer base
  • Experience working on a large variety of vehicles and machines
  • Good troubleshooting / problem solving skills
  • Good verbal communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Vehicle with fuel card and work phone may be provided to right applicant
  • Above award wages offered to correct applicant
