Job descriptionPlanning Manager to assist with funding activations in response to the current flooding situation across Australia About the role Plan and deliver longer term policy and planning initiatives Develop and manage relationships with state and territory government stakeholders Lead legislative change initiatives as required Track, analyse and report on the Australian Government's disaster recovery contingent budget Provide coordination and secretariat support Manage the scoping and development of an end-to-end system to support and streamline the disaster payment process Ideally you will have Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills Strong policy development skills Leadership and staff management skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good understanding of administrative practices and processes relevant to the APS How to apply Applications received after submission may be considered for similar roles.
