Level 3 | Full Time, Fixed Term opportunity for 5 years with the possibility of extension and / or permanency.

About the opportunity

There is currently one (1) five (5) year fixed term position for immediate filling.

The Agricultural Produce Commission (APC) are seeking a Project Officer (Pome) which will be working for Western Australia pome growers providing high-level technical support under the guidance of the project manager. This is a diverse role which will conduct field-based trials but also facilitate industry development. This role is based in the Manjimup office of Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) with field work to be undertaken in the pome growing regions of Manjimup, Pemberton, Donnybrook and Perth Hills.

You will be part of multi-disciplinary team of APC industry development officers and DPIRD research and development officers delivering project outcomes for a national 5 year project.

We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to build on working relationships and applying your independent judgement under the guidance of senior staff.
