• Focal point of contact between the company and the client
• Supervising works in progress and managing the daily activities of work crews including performance management
• Conducting kick-off site inspections and attending customer meetings
• Leading daily pre-start meetings
• Ensuring that pre-starts, JHA's, Take 5's, Hazard Reports, Incident Reports are completed in line with company policies and procedures
• Rolling out company policies and procedures and ensuring these are adhered to
• Compiling information required for invoicing including as constructed drawings
• Signing and approving timesheets
• Developing and managing strong customer relationships
• Supporting the Project Manager to deliver the project
• Key Skills and experience we are looking for
• 3-5 years' minimum solid background in civil works or construction
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership position
• A demonstrated commitment to establishing a strong HSE culture and an ingrain belief that HSE should never be compromised in order to get the job done
• A strong work ethic with a positive attitude to learning and development
• High levels of initiative and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Holds various nationally-recognised tickets for different machines (Grader, Loader, Excavator, Skid Steer, Tipper, Watercart, etc.)
