JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is looking for enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our fantastic In Room Dining team on a full-time basis for a period of 6 months.

About The Role

The In Room Dining Supervisor will report to the Restaurant & In Room Dining Manager and is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of In Room Dining with a focus on effective team communication to enhance the customer experience.

Critical Responsibilities :

• Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
• Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
• Display hands-on leadership and lead by example
• Be organized and understand room movements, amenity lists, and other daily priorities to ensure a seamless operation.
• Communicate effectively with the team so they can perform at their best
• Ensure Talent are working together collaboratively to meet and anticipate guests needs
• Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies
• Champion brand standards to ensure consistency, quality, and luxury service is delivered to all our guests
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and identify training needs of the team so they too can develop.
