Engineer Electrical

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer at Downer, you'll play a key role in the development of safe, reliable, and cost-effective electrical designs for new and existing rolling stock systems. You'll be responsible for :

• Preparing engineering specifications, reports, calculations, layouts, production drawings, and cost estimates
• Developing reference designs and integration plans for new electrical systems
• Supporting production, maintenance, and commissioning teams with timely engineering advice
• Diagnosing fleet-wide issues and driving technical solutions
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards
