Role responsibilities

This role is high level and strategic, where you can make direct and significant impacts to defence capability. You will utilise your technical, project management and multi-platform experience, alongside your knowledge of commercial and ITAR, to provide technical guidance on requirements for facilities. Stakeholder engagement is a key factor, working with external and internal Defence stakeholders. You will mentor and develop Junior Officers and engineers within the air combat space. You will advise on the provision of specialist Engineering Services in support of Requirements, Design, Integration, Systems Engineering, Risk management, and other areas such as specialist review of airworthiness compliance demonstration. Providing advice on engineering planning and management is also important.

About you

• NV1 Clearance - mandatory
• Experienced across Project / Program Management and be a suitably qualified Engineer Aero / Electr / Armament (for example)
• Strong experience & understanding of defence requirements for facilities
• Broad Engineering knowledge and demonstrated experience in engineering specialty
• Strong leadership & advisory capability, able to influence and offer strategic advice based on solid expertise & knowledge
• Must have a strong defence background, with a preference for Aviation or Aero domains
• Ability to engage with key defence stakeholders at various levels
• Ability to work as part of a team
