About The Company

Our client is a well-established trade services provider, specialising in roofing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC for the energy, marine, mining, and defence sectors. With a team of 25+ skilled professionals, they service the Cairns, Innisfail, and Atherton Tablelands regions.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee operations in their roofing division. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Cairns.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this role is to manage roofing service projects from procurement to completion, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Conducting site visits for quoting and job quality assurance
  • Ensuring accurate data entry in the job management system
  • Liaising with clients to understand and fulfil their roofing needs
  • Providing training and support to apprentices and team members
  • Managing procurement, supplier coordination, and scheduling jobs
  • Overseeing installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems

    • About You

    The successful candidate will have :

  • A Cert III in Plumbing or Roof Plumbing
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • 2+ Years experience as a plumbing / roof plumbing tradesperson
  • Competency in job management software and reporting systems
