Join us as a Licensed Electrical Inspector and play a key role in safeguarding compliance across the Ausnet Electricity Distribution Network from our Lilydale or Thomastown depot. From resolving customer issues to investigating defects, reviewing switchboard plans, and supporting fault response, your work will shape reliable service across the region. If you thrive on variety, problem-solving, and meaningful technical influence, this role delivers it daily.
Timely completion of works activity records and other work-related documentation using digital work platforms.
If you have strong technical expertise, hands‑on experience, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, we want you on our team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a solid understanding of regulatory requirements of the ESA, ES(G)R’s, VSIR’s, AS3000, AS2067, AS3010, AS5033, AS5139 and VESI ISTC procedures, electricity distribution assets, along with proven skills in inspection, customer service, stakeholder engagement and ability to work autonomously or closely within a team environment.
