The Speech Pathologist reports to the Allied Health Team Leader. As a Speech Pathologist you will deliver speech therapy to young children aged up to school age in individual centrebased sessions. Children in this program do not need a GP referral but instead can be referred in via communitybased organisations such as Maternal and Child Health Services or parent / carer referrals as well as NDIS participants utilising their NDIS planned funds.

This role would be supported by another fulltime highly experienced Speech Pathologist Allied Health Team as well as the broader NDCH team.

About This Role

To provide speech pathology services within their individual scope of practice for a range of funding and service guidelines including but not limited to : the Victorian Department of Health; My Aged Care; NDIS; fee for service; including goal setting assessment therapy and evaluation to the community (including NDIS Participants) as part of an interdisciplinary team.

About You

Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology as recognised by Speech Pathology Australia.

Qualified Speech Pathologist as recognised by Speech Pathology Australia.

Training in and understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Framework. Training may be provided by NDCH if not already attained.

Current working with children police check & NDIS screening check
