E&I Subject Matter Expert (Sme)

Job descriptionABOUT THE ROLE Electrical SME to join our team based in West Perth, Monday - Friday, with ad hoc travel to site. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be working in a team of mining execution experts, responsible for overseeing and delivering tender packages to the project execution teams. This role is a great opportunity for Electrical Supervisors or Superintendents to bring your field-based knowledge home to Perth. Your duties will include : Develop detailed construction methodologies and tender schedules for the E&I scopes. Interpret drawings and review scopes of work to ensure it is reflected in pricing and project execution. Evaluate pricing, quotes, and estimates from subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare and maintain tender pricing & documentation deliverables. Review and advise on commercial, contracts and scope departures. Develop project deliverables for site execution including workpacks, QAQC documentation, execution methodologies and schedules. Coordinating procurement of materials relevant to the scope in line with set budgets. Maintain, track and report on tender progress and performance. Prepare Microsoft Project schedules and work to tight deadlines and budgets. Attend regular tender meetings on site to review scope as required. ABOUT YOU Must have either a Trades Qualification, Engineering degree, or equivalent. At least 5+ years' experience with E&I works in the mining industry as a Supervisor, Superintendent, Engineer, or Estimator. Must have strong project execution experience with good commercial acumen. Have previous experience with building construction methodologies. Proficient in MS Excel and highly advantageous to be skilled in MS Projects.
