Job descriptionLead the wound care portfolio, ensuring best practice management and documentation. Step onto the floor and assist with clinical workload as required (medications, documentation, resident assessments, family communication, etc.) Support the clinical team by backfilling clinical leadership leave throughout the year (acting as a Clinical Care Coordinator during these periods) Demonstrate leadership in maintaining infection control, manual handling and care provision principles at all times and educate staff on related policies and procedures. Bachelor of Nursing with full AHPRA registration (no restrictions) Post Graduate experience (preferred 3 years) Up to date qualifications in First Aid and CPR Demonstrated clinical assessment skills and strong wound management experience. Ability to mentor and lead others Comprehensive clinical knowledge of the ageing process & health and a working knowledge of relevant Aged Care legislation Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to resident wellbeing Experience working in Aged Care Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to apply) A competitive salary based on experience.
