About Our Client
Our client is a global trading powerhouse with operations across multiple international hubs. After re-establishing its Australian presence, the business is scaling rapidly and building a strong local team to lead global trade from Brisbane.
Job Description
- Coordinate international shipping for full container loads and vehicle shipments.
- Manage customs clearance, compliance, and ensure all documentation is accurate and timely.
- Prepare shipping documents and oversee administrative requirements for imports and exports.
- Source competitive freight quotes, assist with pricing analysis, and maintain cost efficiency.
- Act as the communication link between the Brisbane office and global partners in India, the Middle East, and beyond.
- Handle queries with shipping lines and ensure smooth movement of goods across borders.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong knowledge of logistics and import/export processes within Australia.
- Highly detail oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural setting.
- Proactive and eager to take ownership of processes and projects.
