What does the job look like?
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a critical planning role within our Government & Defence team. As the Warehouse & Distribution Specialist Planner, you’ll be responsible for managing the flow of goods, ensuring stock levels are optimised and products are ready to support dependencies. Key areas :
- Management, investigation, analysis and resolution of operational and system issues
- Ensure all inventory is received and dispatched in line with contractual obligations and KPI requirements..
- Providing continuous improvement of processes with focus on controls, revenue assurance and deficiencies identified by the commonwealth and other key stakeholders
- Ensure management controls are in place including auditing of site operational and system processes
- Develop, coordinate and implement plans that will lead to improvement in W&D functions.
- Work closely with Management to build a strong understanding of operations and customer needs
