Overview
This is a great opportunity for a Product Manager to join News Corp in the product team. Reporting to the Head of Product, this role is responsible for the delivery and execution of the digital product strategy for brands like news.com.au, Escape, Body + Soul and Client Product initiatives. You will showcase organisational skills, collaboration, understanding of websites and CMS, communication, and analytical skills. You will act as a mediator between consumers, technical teams, and the newsroom.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Own products and features through their entire lifecycle - from concept through to build and iterating post-launch
- Maintain and contribute to the product roadmap
- Involve requirements gathering, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to unpack business problems, provide product solutions, and share insights
- Scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact
- Be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment
- Work with internal domain experts to build best-in-class experiences
- Analyse data to measure the impact of product improvements
- Track and analyse website experiments and initiatives for post-implementation reviews and ongoing optimisations
- Monitor and evaluate product performance to facilitate continuous iteration and improvement
- Manage the execution and delivery of editorial or marketing campaigns on the website
- Partner regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritisation
- Support the product team to lead in the digital product space by knowing the brands and audience, pulling insights, conducting AB testing and directing areas of focus
