Our client is seeking to fill an APS 5 Procurement Support Officer position for 6 months.
Responsibilities_
Provide assistance to procurement and workforce activities and ensure that these activities are conducted in line with policy, governance, probity and legislated requirements
Prepare correspondence and corporate documentation, reports, submissions and briefs
Complete administrative functions to support the work of the team, whilst ensuring compliance with policy and processes (including arranging meetings, monitoring group mailboxes, records management and processing of invoices)
Assist in the review and improvement of business processes, contributing to the development of guides and instructions
Maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels and external stakeholders

Desirable Requirements _
Sound understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting and / or equivalent experience in a similar role
