Project Associate – GDLS-A Programs

We are currently recruiting for a Project Associate to join our team in Mawson Lakes.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the GDLS-A Program and Project Manager(s) to :

  • Plan, budget and schedule work packages.
  • Administer, coordinate and submit responses and reports to the Commonwealth and Commercial customers as required.
  • Lead all Contract Change Proposals (CCP) and Survey and Quote (S&Q) variation activities, including Programs responsibilities.
  • Administer, coordinate and compile bid and tender responses in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, and specific contract requirements.
  • Meet all Project Associate obligations with respect to the processing of Spare Parts Request for Quotes (RFQs) to Commonwealth and Commercial customers.
  • Ensure milestones are achieved.

In addition, you will :

  • Lead and coordinate the preparation of bids and tenders.
  • Utilise discipline related knowledge to provide informed customer service, advice and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain filing and retrieval system for documentation and meeting minutes.
  • Present to Leadership and Customers status of deliverables and metrics where required.
  • Your skills and experience will include :

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Commerce.
  • Maintain a logical approach in the analysis of data.
  • Ability to collaborate with the Commonwealth, suppliers and internal team members.
  • Good understanding of Costing and Finance Principles
  • Ability to think critically and methodically, and provide solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate business solutions.
  • To be successful for this role, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian government security clearance.
