Optical Assistant – Full Time (Monday to Friday)

Aaron Henry Optometry is a locally owned and operated independent optometry practice that provides memorable customer experiences for our community through innovation and personalised care.

About the Role

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients – welcoming them to the practice, helping them select frames, and supporting them throughout their eyewear journey. You’ll also assist with daily administrative and retail tasks to keep the practice running smoothly.

Your day-to-day will include :

Helping patients choose eyewear that suits their lifestyle and personal style

Supporting patients with lens options and fitting guidance (training provided)

Merchandising frames and maintaining an inviting retail space

Providing exceptional customer service at every touchpoint

Learning quickly and embracing new systems and processes

Who we’re looking for :

A people person with a friendly, outgoing nature

Someone with a keen eye for detail and a flair for style and presentation

A quick learner who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

Previous retail experience is a plus, but not essential – full training provided
