Bookkeepers – Full-Time & Part-Time Roles

Location: Wollongong & Surrounding Areas

Employment Type: 1x Full-Time | 1x Part-Time (approx. 20–25 hours per week)

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 (pro-rata for PT) + Superannuation (Based on experience)

You will be the backbone of our daily financial operations, ensuring our accounts are seamless and our team is paid on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Managing end-to-end processing, supplier reconciliations, and preparing weekly/fortnightly payment runs.

• Accounts Receivable: Raising invoices, monitoring aging reports, and professional debt collection/follow-up.

• Payroll & Superannuation: Processing payroll for our growing team, managing leave entitlements, and ensuring Superannuation Guarantee (SG) compliance.

• Bank Reconciliations: Daily matching of transactions across multiple accounts.

• Compliance Support: Assisting with BAS/IAS preparation and ensuring all records meet ATO standards.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts role.

• Software Savvy: Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks (Cloud-based experience is highly regarded).

• Qualification: Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or higher) is preferred.

• Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Australian tax system and Fair Work payroll standards.

• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to explain "the numbers" to non-financial team members.
