Salary : Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)
Term : This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension and / or permanency

The School
The Ashburton Drive Primary School (PS) motto is 'Dream, Believe, Achieve' and the school song is 'You Can Do It'. The WA Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) program guides a friendly, positive school tone with a strong emphasis on teaching and encouraging students who uphold the school values.
Facilities are modern and well maintained; classrooms support a Science laboratory, kiln, STEM area and music room. Students have access to interactive whiteboards, laptops and iPads. The school delivers core WA curriculum standards with specialist staff in Music, Physical Education, Science, Auslan, Wellbeing programs, Breakfast Club, Personal Best Club, Choir, Puppets and Clowns, and specialised instrumental programs. Pastoral care and extension programs (PEAC) are offered. In 2026 the school begins its Connected Community School journey.
The Role
We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher who communicates effectively, fosters genuine relationships with parents, students and colleagues, and creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The role focuses on high expectations, growth mindset, and nurturing students’ social and emotional development. Differentiation to support diverse student needs and proficiency with assessment tools to monitor progress and inform planning are desirable. Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (ELYF) and National Quality Standard (NQS) best practices is highly valued. A collaborative, growth-oriented culture is encouraged.
