Title: Cook, Permanent - Part-time Role, 15 hours per week

Salary Range: $65166.42 to $75733.98 (on a pro-rata basis) per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include:

• Maintain an understanding of the Australian Food Safety Regulations, Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance through meeting the NSW Health Standards.
• Develop a menu that considers the nutritional requirements, cultural, religious differences, allergies and individual needs of the children.
• Actively seek the involvement of families, staff and children in menu planning and provide recipes to parents as requested.
• In consultation with the Director ensure the cost of provisions stay within budget while maintaining a high standard of quality food preparation.
• Maintain stock levels necessary for food provision in the service by undertaking the ordering and shopping.
• Assist with maintaining a service environment in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and Work Health and Safety requirements
