  • About the Role
  • Full time Retail Manager / Stock Controller needed to join the team at this busy community pharmacy in The Northern Rivers Region. This pharmacy prides themselves on providing excellent customer service to their local community. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody that has a career in pharmacy and would like to develop to the next level. You will join a team of 14 young staff members and work alongside the Pharmacist Owner Manager to help provide the support they need.

    In this role, you are required to provide inspirational and effective leadership to your team as you manage the sales, operations and profitability of the store. You will be ultimately responsible for staff, rostering, stock control, buying,merchandising, cost control (Budget Trackers, data entry and managing stock suppliers and catalogues.

    • Previous pharmacy or retail management experience preferred but not essential

    • Experience in budget trackers and KPI (highly desirable)

    • Strong ability to promote the Pharmacy as a centre for advice, assistance and information in areas of health and well-being.
    • Ability to assist in any area of the Pharmacy including orders, counter service, telephone service, Dispensary and store merchandising.
    • Ability to undertake continual training on new and existing products to improve their produce knowledge
    • Have a willingness to develop comprehensive product knowledge across a wide range of products.
    • Ability to lead by example and have a hands on approach in all aspects of the store.

    • The town has a cross-section of population, with a number enjoying their retirement and their proximity to the golf club, whilst many young families have bought or built their dream homes on the lush and hilly settings. Artists, writers, performers and craftspeople find the quiet settings conducive to work, whilst keen surfers and swimmers enjoy the proximity to the beach. A modern shopping centre plus medical centre, pharmacy, tavern, restaurants and school cater to residents and visitors. 150km from Brisbane and 20km from Byron Bay.

    • The Offer
    • The roster Monday to Friday 8 : 30 to 6pm on a full time rate of $30 to $33 an hour plus super ( Negotiable dependent upon experience) with a minimum of 38 hours a week. There is more hours on offer if desired. Training will be provided with this opportunity.
