    How you'll make an impact

    CareChoice has a great opportunity for an experienced Learning Advisor to join the team.

    This role is fixed term until the end of January 2026.

    Reporting to the Chief People Officer and Manager, People & Culture you will be a passionate Learning Advisor with proven experience as a trainer, learning advisor or educator, ideally in the disability support sector.

    The Learning Advisor is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting professional development programs and training initiatives to enhance the knowledge and skills of CareChoice staff. This role ensures that both internal and frontline staff are equipped with the appropriate skills and knowledge to provide high-quality supports to CareChoice participants.

  • About you

    As an experienced Learning Advisor, you will have experience working with diverse teams, providing feedback and assessing performance as well as a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.

    You will have an ability to assess learning needs and adapt training materials as required.

    You will have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills and have a genuine passion for learning.

    You will be self-motivated, be an excellent team player, a positive role-model with a ‘can do' attitude, amiable, honest, with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

    Ideally, you'll have :

  • Previous experience in a learning role in the disability services sector or similar will be highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related is advantageous.
  • A thorough knowledge or industry experience, including NDIS, DHHS, and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including negotiation and problem-solving skills).
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship management skills, coupled with a strong desire and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet established deadlines.
  • A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and work unsupervised.
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment including the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Highly developed PC literacy and administration skills.
  • Strong business acumen skills.
  • Employment with CareChoice is subject to satisfactory background checks which include Professional References, Employee Working with Children Check, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
