An exciting opportunity is available within the Compliance and Environmental Health Department at the City of Whittlesea. This is a permanent, full-time position.
City of Whittlesea Animal Management Officers investigate and enforce breaches of both state and local government legislation. These can include : Local Laws, the Domestic Animals Act 1994, the Domestic Animal Regulations 2015, and the Impounding Livestock Act 1994. They provide consistent, professional information and advice to internal and external stakeholders and ensure an appropriate balance between education and enforcement.
We need dynamic employees who are passionate about continuous improvement and ready to take on new challenges. This role will have a primary focus on ensuring compliance throughout the municipality with regards to Local Laws and Road Rules.
