About the role : We are currently seeking an experienced developer to join our client, a leading technology company. Based in Sydney, you will translate complex business needs into efficient technical solutions while leading a team of developers to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Appian’s capabilities, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Job responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of projects on the Appian platform.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to ensure alignment with technical solutions.
• Develop robust integrations with peripheral systems, middleware, and applications.
• Design and build data models to support application development.
• Define and enforce architectural and development standards, adhering to best practices.
• Mentor and guide a team of Appian developers and analysts, promoting continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Hands‑on involvement with Appian’s key capabilities, including process modeling, UI design, plugin analysis, and more.
