The future of gas and electrification

• Gas is an essential service in Victoria, and it will be for decades to come. Our priority is to continue safe and reliable gas supply to our gas distribution customers in Western Victoria.
• We believe there is potential for the gas network to play a role for supporting the energy system through the transition with renewable gas. The challenges this brings to the Gas Network are interesting and complex to solve.
• Maintaining a safe and reliable gas network, supporting price stability, and seeking equitable outcomes for customers through the energy transition will require ongoing dialogue and a coordinated approach.

As the Gas Data & Information Systems Analyst , you’ll empower AusNet’s Gas Business with accurate, timely, and actionable insights. In this role, you’ll drive data quality and performance reporting to support financial and operational goals. You’ll analyse trends, create visualisations, and streamline reporting processes to ensure data is reliable, consistent, and ready to inform key decisions. With a Hybrid split (Office / WFH), this role is based in South Bank and is part of the Network Management Team, with occasional travel to site within Victoria.
