Locum VR GP - Ochre Health Queenstown

The Opportunity

Working between 08 : 30am – 17 : 00pm, in this Ochre Health clinic that is attached to the hospital and aged care facility, you will be based within the clinic itself and you will work alongside a GP VMO who will be the one to cover the emergency cases. On occasion, there may be a requirement to support a registrar in the practice as well.

As the only private medical centre in Queenstown, the practice has the capacity for up to three full-time doctors who are supported by a full-time Chronic Disease Management trained Registered Nurse and practice staff.

• Best Practice software
• Primarily bulk billing clinic including routine GP consultations, health assessments and chronic conditions management
• Working alongside a GP VMO who covers the co-located hospital and the clinic
• Travel, car and accommodation support provided

As the gateway to Tasmania’s rugged west coast, it offers many beautiful walking tracks in the surrounding areas as well as a unique train ride through rare rainforest.

Essential Criteria

You will require AHPRA Specialist registration to work as a General Practitioner, along with fellowship of the RACGP or equivalent, plus full working rights.
