We are looking for an experienced Project Manager ready to join our team based at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast. From contract award through the manufacture, installation, commissioning and final handover you will be the primary commercial and operational interface between BAC and our customer project. The role responsibilities include :

Manage end-to-end project delivery on a major and complex contract.

Plan, schedule, and oversee project execution, ensuring all critical path milestones are met.

Coordinate with all internal functions to ensure availability to execute in line with the project plan.

Financial and commercial management : manage the project budget, tracking costs, overseeing major sub-contractors to meet their contractual requirements.

Identify risks and maintain live risk register, implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with WHS and quality standards.

Manage stakeholders : liaise with the customer to build trust and optimise the customer's experience, and work with all contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.

Documentation and Reporting : maintain detailed documentation, prepare and analyse project reports, budgets, and progress updates for senior management.

Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and outcomes.

About You :

3 years+ experience with proven success in project management within heavy engineering, manufacturing, or industrial infrastructure environments.

Degree qualified in Engineering, Mechanical / Mechatronic preferred, or relevant Trade qualification.

Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Hands-on, solutions-focused, and capable of managing complex projects.

Thorough understanding of WHS, compliance, and quality assurance systems.

Commercially astute, with the ability to manage budgets and contribute to business growth.

Certification or formal training in contract law or contract administration desirable.
