The Department of Education’s System and School Performance directorate is offering an opportunity to a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed candidate to join their team in the position of Principal Consultant Data Management and Analysis.
The System and School Performance directorate has three branches, School Performance, System Performance and Student Assessment and Reporting. This position is located in the School Performance Branch which supports school improvement and accountability and corporate reporting and decision-making by developing and maintaining a range of online resources and providing information analysis and advice on school and student performance.
The Principal Consultant will manage the department’s Online Student Information (OSI) application and oversee the Student Attendance and Reporting (SAR) application. Additionally, the Principal Consultant, will receive, manage and quality assure a range of student-level, school-level and system-level data to provide high-quality analysis and reporting to the Minister, Director General and Corporate Executive. The position will also respond to data requests from regions, business areas and authorised external agencies.
