We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team and take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role demands a strong foundation in Azure services, infrastructure automation, and cloud security, along with the ability to support scalable, secure, and high-performing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and resilient Azure-based infrastructure (VMs, VNets, App Services, AKS, ACR, Azure Functions, etc.)
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
- Drive adoption of best practices for cloud architecture, ensuring availability, scalability, and performance
Security & Compliance
Implement and manage Azure security services : Azure AD, Defender for Cloud, Network Security Groups, Firewalls, and Key VaultEnforce compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal security standardsManage identity and access controls through RBAC, PIM, and Conditional Access policiesAutomation & DevOps
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments via Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or JenkinsBuild and maintain CI / CD pipelines for both infrastructure and application deploymentsLeverage scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and configuration managementMonitoring & Optimization
Configure monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application InsightsPerform cost, performance, and reliability optimization across cloud environmentsTroubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and support root cause analysisMaintenance & Support
Conduct routine maintenance, patching, and upgradesImplement and support disaster recovery and backup solutions using Azure-native tools (ASR, Azure Backup)Collaborate with developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless cloud operationsRequired Skills & Experience
5–7+ years in cloud engineering, system administration, or DevOps rolesProven expertise with Microsoft Azure services and architectureHands‑on experience with Terraform, ARM, or Bicep for infrastructure provisioningStrong scripting ability using PowerShell, Bash, or PythonFamiliarity with CI / CD platforms : Azure DevOps, GitHub, JenkinsSolid understanding of cloud networking (VNETs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, DNS)Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)Understanding of cloud security best practices and secure deploymentsNice to Have
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, AZ‑305, AZ‑400)Experience in hybrid cloud or multi‑cloud environmentsExposure to cost management tools and FinOps practicesWork Rights
