Our client is an established leading consultancy and has a global presence, working with both the public and private sector, focusing on large-scale challenging projects across civil infrastructure, buildings, utilities, power, Defence and resources sectors to name a few.

They are currently recruiting for an experienced

  • Quantity Surveyor / Senior Consultant
  • to join their successful and growing team in Sydney.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and implementing plans, project controls, reviewing construction plans, preparing quantity requirements, constructing methodology reports and construction programmes, reviewing tender submissions and processing delay claims and risk management.

    MRICS is highly favourable

  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying or related Engineering degrees
  • Minimum of 3 to 6 years' experience in similar role
  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements
  • Preparing pre-construction management plan reports
  • Preparing building construction methodology reports and complex construction programmes
  • Reviewing tender submissions
  • Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, measuring, estimating and negotiating variations
  • Assessing EOT's
  • Experience with delay claims and quantum claims analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Primavera P6 and or MS Project
  • Proven track record in the timely management and delivery of resources
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
